Camilla gave a beleagured smile to the girl "Of course." She replied.
"And call me Camilla. If you need me, all you have to do is put a drop of water on this card. She handed the card over even though two seconds previously, there had been no card in her hand. She was guiltly reminded of when she had told the King of Nightmares that it required a tear. It had been too good an oppurtunity to pass up, but with Gavin, she didn't feel like badgering him so much.
"Try to think on a wish before you call me. I have things to do during a day besides wait on you hand and foot."

"Thank you," Gavin said, taking the card with some difficulty, and then holding it very awkwardly. Whoever had created armor had sadly forgotten to add pockets.
"Oh, um." He took Samantha's hand in his free hand and bowed over it, creaking slightly (he knew he ought to have polished yesterday). "It was... it was... really nice meeting you too. Maybe I'll see you later, Miss Cross?"
Hm, not likely. It was raining confetti on his Parade of Humiliations.

"Perhaps." She gave him a patronizing smile, deciding to humor him for the time being. She stood uncertainly for a moment. She didn't like the idea of being chased out of her haven by a rusted soldier and his fairy godmother, but she also didn't relish keeping their company for an extended amount of time. If they didn't leave soon, she may have to. Sigh.

The Fairy Godmother could just feel the extra weight of a paticularly miserable ward settling down on her shoulders. Why couldn't she ever get the well adjusted ones? Why did they always have such deep emotional problems? This was not going to help with her already incredibly busy days. She rolled her shouldes. The price of helping. Gah.
"Well, I'm off. You know how to reach me." Camilla glanced towards Samantha again and supposed in a way, atleast as she left she'd be granting half a wish. The poor thing just wanted to be alone.
Giving once last pitying look to Gavin, she smiled a tight little thing. "You might think about wishing for some new armour."
And with that (and an explusion of unseemingly large amounts of glitter) Camilla was gone.

Gavin sneezed out glitter.
Great.
Once again, another pointless and humiliating moment in the life of Gavin-of-the-unpronouncable-Welsh-name. Life was just great.
It was, it was- the sun was still shining, he'd gotten the work done, his horse didn't seem to hate him anymore- that was good! Life was great, damn it!
"I'll, um... er, sorry to have, er... disturbed you, Miss Cross." He bowed and watched as glitter poured out of his armor. "Haveanicedaythanksitwasnicetomeetyoubye." With a burst of strength born of utter humiliation, Gavin swung himself up galloped back to Dreamland, trailing glitter the entire way.
