A flashback to the near-forgotten dragon episode flickered through Nellie’s mind, and she shook her head with a little pout. “’e’s not my Alexander. An’ ‘e seems to catch fings on fire prit’y regularly, then, I s’pose. I guess it’s loik ‘is hobby.” Nellie shrugged. Some people do embroidery, some people set large country clubs and sheep on fire.
“Sorry ‘bout the money it’s costin’ you. An’ I’m sure she’ll appreciates it, she will, so it’ll be wurf it in the end,” Nellie said, sounding deeper than she was by far.

"I don't know about zat. I've met 'im and if 'ee is willing to spend time with such a sweet girl 'ee might very well be yours." She smiled and winked and slipped on her gloves. "Yes, 'ee does seem to enjoy causing othair people lots of trouble. But its ok. I blackmailed 'im into 'elping me prepare my 'ouse for ze party."
Marie nodded, almost surprised. The girl hadn't seemed all to quick on her wit. Not that Marie was any Nobel Prize winner, but she was at the very least education and could spell 'assorted'.
"Yes, it will be worth it."

Nellie wrinkled her nose. He might very well be hers? What was that supposed to mean? Like, a crush? That was just nonsense. Nellie snorted. “Whatever.”
“’Ow’d you manage to blackmail ‘im?” Nellie asked, her curiosity piqued. He didn’t seem exactly blackmail-able. He seemed to arrogant to get intimidated by anyone holding information over his head.

She leaned in as if someone might over hear them. "I just told 'im that I would tell 'is sistair why she was not getting her party, and bing bang boom he was moving furniture at my 'ouse. I zink 'is sistair scares him a little. But with a mothair like ze Queen, I do not blame 'im."
Marie straightened and smiled. She was actually kind of proud that she'd managed to get the notoriously arrogant Alexander to move furniture for her and help her prepare for a party. It was something no one would really believe if she told them, but that was fine. It was just kind of amusing to think about.

“Oh really now?” Nellie asked, grinning mischievously. “I may ‘ave t’ try that sometime. But don’t worry, I won’t tell ‘im you told me ‘is weaknesses.” Nellie giggled cheerfully. Sweet and adorable as she was, she didn’t shy away from teasing.
“Soooo,” Nellie started, swinging off the cart so she could re-hitch the horse, and adjusting her hat. “It was good ta meet ya, Miss Antoinette. I’m Nellie Peep, by the way. I’ll tries t’ get yer candy to ya as soon as we gets it all packaged up all pretty and what not.” Nellie waved brightly and drove off, surprisingly nimbly dodging the pedestrians in her path, who only had to dive a little to not be crushed.
