He caught her. He actually caught her. Camilla was laughing herself as she sprawled out on the foliage when he set her down. She put her hands to her tender neck, but there was no permanent harm done. She took a luxuriously deep breath and couldn't stop smiling.
"I'm fine. How...how about you?" She sat up slowly, her head rushing with the sudden movement. Camilla just felt a little giddy. "Are you okay?" She looked around, this part seemed to be relatively safe.
When she came down from her giddiness, she'd probably be heartbroken. Her beautiful shoes were lost, her skirt was ruined and her shirt was stained possibly beyond repair. It had been an awful day off and she really, really wanted a drink or seven. "That was some mental health day." Cami grinned wryly and stood, brushing dried mud off herself and pulling twigs out of her hair.
"Umm. Thanks, for the....help." This had blood pooling in her cheeks the second she uttered it.

"Fine," he said softly, watching her. Going by previous encounters, the word he would have used to describe her until now would have probably been intimidating. Well put-together, confident, attractive and perhaps a little cold, it was much easier to back off than deal with her, but now, with leaves in her hair and her cheeks a pretty red color, she looked.... nice? She looked good, though it was embarrassing to think about; and hard not to think about, since the rip she'd made in the side of her skirt had torn even higher in their struggles.
"My pleasure," he said gruffly, and then pushed himself to his feet. "So can you poof us out of here, or what?"

Camilla nodded. "I think so. I think I've helped you enough." She smiled and walked to him, putting her hand on his shoulder. He seemed quite uncomfortable around her, although she kind of wished he wasn't. So far, around him, nothing had been able to be qualified as boring or monotonous.
She tried and this time she succeeded. Perhaps it was because they were in a safer part of the forest, perhaps it was because the wish had been fulfilled and they could leave. But there was an implosion of glitter like always, but instead of the hospital (not on her life would she let her staff see her in this condition) but to the flat she kept in downtown Chimera.
