Zizzy harrumphed. He was mad at her, and he kissed some guy back? Not that she thought she had anything to be jealous about, but honestly. His kiss with Mikhail meant as much to him as her kiss with Alex had meant to her. And she hadn't even kissed Alex back. She looked away after a moment, because even if it was another man, it still wasn't pleasing to see Armand kiss someone else and looking like maybe he didn't mind it as much as he should.
Marie cooed in delight and looked over at Zizzy, not being able to help a mean little jab. "Makes sense, him dating you, 'ee doesn't seem to be all zat into girls."
Zizzy couldn't deny that hurt, and her amusement at Mikhail's dare fled as she saw the way the two men had become entangled. Wouldn't it be just her luck to be Armand's stopping pit before he jumped out of the closet.

Almost to the second, when a minute had passed, Armand pulled away. He raised an eyebrow. "Satisfied?" he asked, unable to help the somewhat sarcastic undertone.
He carefully unraveled himself, and then paused, because even if it had been a dare for a childish game, a kiss was a kiss, and shouldn't be treated as something cheap or dirty. So he spared Mikhail a brief, apologetic smile and quickly made his way back to where Zizzy sat.
"My turn?" he asked, as calm and unruffled as anything.

"Oh, immensely." Mikhail replied with a grin, adjusting his hair delicately as he sat up and found his place in the circle once more. He had hardly needed the small show of affection. He liked things cheap and dirty.
"Enjoy yourself?" He asked easily, off-the-cuff. He hoped it had been at least a little fun for the other man, otherwise there would be plenty of work to be done. Luckily, with the serum, he wouldn't even need to be able to discern a lie. There couldn't be one.

Zizzy scooted away from him, therefore that much closer to Alex, who was also being pissy. She briefly considered switching seats entirely, but that would've been kind of obvious and childish so she stayed put and sulked, unhappy with both brothers. Armand acted all wounded and upset with her when all she did was sit there and let herself be kissed and he ends up edging second base with another guy? The initial dare had said nothing about meaning it. And not that he was obliged to, but he hadn't even responded to the French bitch's comment about her being a boy. Whatever happend to defending her honor?
"I want to snap that little twit's neck." She hissed to no one in particular. Marie overheard and sent a razor-sharp smile at Zizzy.
"You're a very pretty boy." She said with a fake kind of apology to her tone. "And yes, Armand, darling, it is your turn."

Damn the truth serum. Did he enjoy it? In comparison, not really. If anyone here had ever seen him kiss Zizzy for a minute, they'd know the little show between him and Mikhail was nothing. "I didn't hate it," he answered stiffly.
He glanced at Zizzy as she scooted away from him. She had to be kidding. She kissed his brother, and he hadn't even been mad, and now he kissed a boy that he didn't know, and she gave him the cold shoulder. Well, fine. Two could play that game. The insult at Zizzy stung, but the need to respond proved unnecessary, as Alexander sent a scorching glare at Marie.
"Back off, Antoinette," he snarled in Zizzy's defense. "At least someone wants to kiss her."
Armand quickly scanned the room, ready to move on. He needed someone unassuming, uninvolved.... simple, for once. He smiled, spotting his sort-of cousin. "Finnie," he said, with a small smile. "Truth or dare?"

Marie recoiled slightly and the ferocity in Alexander's tone, but was wearing a sly smile seconds later. This was turning out perfect, there was already distance between Zizzy and Armand. And she bet that answer hadn't helped things. Finnie? Who was Finnie? She followed Armand's gaze to the porcelain girl and rolled her eyes, returning to her passtime of insulting Zizzy.
"Just because you want to kiss you brothair's boyfriend doesn't mean you 'ave to get all snippy."
Zizzy, despite the inappropriate kiss was touched. Why was it Alex had stood up for her where Armand had not? And the 'I didn't hate it' had stung. If she'd been asked about her kiss with Alex, she would've answered with a quick, honest (obviously) 'No'. She sort of wished she'd never gotten into this. Armand was already moved on, obviously not at all concerned about how he was coming off.
She gave Alex a quick hug, mostly to piss of Armand, "Thanks." She muttered, "You'd think my boyfriend would be the one to do that." Apparently, he's into boys.

"Just pointing out that no one seems to want to involve you in any kissing affairs," Alexander replied coolly.
He wished Zizzy hadn't hugged him, and at the same time, was very glad that she had. On any other day, he might have assured her of his brother's good intentions (and lack of interest in the opposite sex), but not tonight. "Any time, babe," he said, touching the back of her neck, wishing the gesture hadn't come off so sensual, but he'd been honestly unable to help himself.
Armand had already concluded what a stupid idea this had been. For one ugly moment, he had a surge of childish anger and thought as Alexander might have thought, and almost switched his choice to Marie, just to get back at them both. He would happily involve her in a kissing affair, and it would be longer than a minute.
But he didn't. He let the moment pass and tried to relax the tension in his shoulders, waiting for Finnie's response.

A slow, coy smile crossed Mikhail's lips. Well, that was at least somewhere to start. Cleverly worded, too. He must be a rather smart one. Oh, this would be a good night. And judging from the way the little waif moved away from Armand as soon as he sat beside her, she'd only be making it easier.
He was curious, though, to see what kind of dare he would brew up, and so he let himself relax fully into his little stack of pillows.

Genevieve had really been much too stunned to help Alexander tease Armand. Really, her big brother just kissed a boy. And not like an overly-awkward, normal truth-or-dare kiss, this looked fairly natural. Well, they were Iras, and Iras never did anything half-way. Alexander would never let Armand live this down. One day, in the distant future, when Alexander’s little blonde-haired, orange-eyed kids were playing with Armand’s little lightningbug-children (Genevieve would still have no children nor husband, as she would still not be permitted), they would taunt them with “Well at least my dad doesn’t kiss boys.”
The mood had been temporarily lightened, at least for the younger two of the royal siblings, but Genevieve was not blind. In fact, she was quite attuned to other people’s emotions. She could feel the brewing tension going on to her left and was wary. So, she could wee where Armand was going with choosing Finola; Finnie was unassuming and uninvolved.
Unfortunately, she was a little boring.
---
Had Finola been capable of making a face, her dismay would have been quite obvious. As it was, only a streak of “Dear-God”-Gray flitted through her bangs to disappear into patch of lively orange and she tapped her fingers nervously on her knee. Why her? She was more than content to not be involved. There was clearly drama going on that side of the circle, and frankly, she felt this game and these people were below her intelligence level.
And she was not kissing anyone. She did not want Mononucleosis or Meningitis or Herpes. She had even refused to touch her lips to the mouth of the truth serum bottle. The mouth is full of bacteria.
“Truth,” Finola answered, in her normal monotonous manner. She had no awesome secrets to keep from these people, so they would not be entertained. But she didn’t care much. She was not here to entertain socialites.

Wrinkling his nose just slightly as he caught sight of the recipient of the question, Mikhail let out the tiniest of sighs. Oh, how boring! And it had just been going somewhere fun! Well, perhaps whoever came after the next two (inevitably uninteresting) questions would be able to stir things up again.
He spared a glance at Armand. Well, at least he an his little tart seemed to be having some trouble. That could always be used nicely. He let his gaze remain for just a few seconds on the Prince, half-smirking to himself, almost hoping to catch his eye.

If Armand noticed Mikhail's gaze, then he didn't show it, determined to keep his eyes on Finnie, and to move along to a safe, easy question.
"Okay," he said, thinking. Something easy, and painless, not that he really believed Finnie had any dark secrets he could unearth to begin with. "If you had to be marooned on an island with two people from this room, who are they, and which one to you choose to die by accident, and which one do you choose to spend the rest of your life with?"
Alexander rolled his eyes (la tee dah), watching Zizzy, and then trying to pretend like he wasn't watching Zizzy.

Finnie wasted not even 15 seconds thinking about her answer. “That guy, to die” she said, pointing at Demitri. By way of apology, she added, “I don’t know you.” The second half was harder to actually think of. She could not think of anyone she would like to be stranded with, since Nikola Tesla wasn’t in the room and ‘alone’ was not an option.
“Genevieve, I guess. She’s at least semi-intelligent not a huge bitch. Especially comparatively.” Compared to who, Finola neglected to say.
“Gee, thanks, Finnie,” Genn snorted. It was actually a Finola-brand compliment, though it was very hard to tell.
“Yup. I’m done now?” Finola asked Armand, looking just about as bored as everyone else felt.

"And thank God for that." Mikhail breathed softly to Marie. God, what a terrible bore. Some people simply didn't know how to have any fun. And Armand was rather carefully avoiding even looking at him, too!
...But of course, that could always be a good thing. It meant that he might be thinking about him instead. And really, Mikhail was never one to give up.
"Come along, then, it's your turn to ask somebody." He urged Finola impatiently.

“Fine,” She said, glancing around the circle to find her next victim. This was particularly stressful for her, because…well, her decided lack of imagination would cause her to create a dull question or a stale dare. “Zizzy?”

If Armand didn't catch that look from Mikhail, Zizzy certainly did, and it made her frown. As did the way Alex touched her neck. What was with him? Was she just being conceited in thinking he was acting oddly towards her? She would've dropped a line about Nellie had it not seemed completely egotistical. Maybe he was just high on fear, and would calm down once it wore off a bit.
Zizzy smiled at Finn. She liked the girl, quite a bit, and had been seeing a lot more of her ever since she started living in the castle. "Dare." She said easily, not thinking the girl would think of anything that would cause too much trouble.
