"Thank you, I agree," Jasper said, ducking his head and following after her. He would try to keep himself as humble as possible, for as long as possible. The ticking bomb veiled behind those shades was almost palpable.
He looked across the room and shot Diaspro and James a meaningful look.

As soon as they were in one of The Faded's more private rooms, Bela closed the door behind them. Leaning against the door, she stood on her left leg bending the right and setting the toe on one side, as though crossing her legs standing up. Her arms followed suit, crossed over her chest.
With a glare, she said to Jasper, "Would you mind explaining yourself?" which was really more of a demand than a question. "Clearly you are not a horrible player, but some of the things you did tonight were the result of more than just luck or skill."

Diaspro indicated for James to stay put while she stood in her awkward manner and hurried after Bela and Jasper. She slid into the room in time to catch 'more than just luck or skill' and walked over to Jasper's side, twining an arm through his and giving him a saccharine sweet smile.
"Whatcha doing lover?" She asked and there was no missing the threat under her words like a sledgehammer covered with silk.

Not expecting the sudden weight that latched onto his arm, he barely stopped his recoil in time. He turned an equally patronizing smile at Diaspro. "Collecting my debts," he said meaningfully, turning back to Bela. He unlatched himself from Diaspro's hold and took a step forward, his glare cracking with the new layer of ice he added. "This is business, Miss Zorro, if you're willing to listen and comply. And I hope you are. I don't want to threaten you, and I have no doubt you'd object to being threatened."

Bela was about to add something to what she'd last said when Diaspro came in. She watched the exchange between the two with raised brows, slightly amused. Judging by Jasper's reaction, if the two of them were involved, then Bela was the Queen of Sheba.
"de Zorro," she corrected automatically. What was with people forgetting to use honorifics? Serioiusly, it was a good thing her father wasn't a Don or anything like that (SO not a reference to Zorro, shut up).
Raising an eyebrow again, Bela narrowed her eyes. She was honorable, but there was something in this that she didn't like. Tightening her crossed arms, she cocked her head to the side slightly. "I'm listening," she told Jasper, completely ignoring Diaspro.

Diaspro did not enjoy being completely ignored and already hated the little twit. "You're going to do more then listen, sweet cheeks. You cut the attitude and I won't have to crush all the bones in your arm into hundreds of pieces." The touch of snarl in her statuesque face was actually kind of frightening. Pretty good for a dream, anyways.
"You're going to help us out unless you want us to call in a debt that I very much doubt you want to run to mummy and daddy for."
It wasn't like she didn't know the de Zorro name.

Jasper sighed. It wasn't that he didn't think Diaspro couldn't handle herself; she'd proven on more than one occasion she could throw a damaging punch. But really--- throwing gas on the fire? "You're not helping," he muttered, placing two hands on Diaspro's shoulders and steering her back.
He turned his attention once more to Bela. "Diaspro," he nodded at glaring stone-girl in question, "is the fine leader of an anti-Nightmare extremist group. We'd like your cooperation, but understand that this is blackmail. Extortion. Entrapment. Whatever you want to call it. We're not negotiating. Your role would be simple. Are you acquainted with his highness, Prince Alexander?" He glanced once at Diaspro. Stop me if I'm getting this wrong, he said. He hadn't exactly memorized the plans. He was hoping she'd step in with a better explanation.

"Oh, I'm tan muy asustado," Bela scoffed. "Apparently, I'm a little girl who has never been injured before." She fixed Diaspro with a pointed glare, obvious even through the sunglasses. "I can deal with pain, perra." Bela's language, though not usually that of a saint, became rather vulgar when she was angry. And 'angry' was an understatement, at this point.
Bela laughed out loud at the mention of her parents. "Perhaps not, but I've been in worse trouble; trust me." Although, she was a de Zorro, she was proud. Like the debt she had owed to Mr. Blu, she would only go to her parents if she would otherwise die.
An anti-Nightmare extremist group? Well, she'd have to remember that for later. "And after I work off my debt? What do you propose to do then? I know who you are; do you really think that I believe that you'll let me go?"
"Depends," she responded to Jasper. "What's it to you?" This was probably not helping her situation, but Bela's temper was long past merely 'lost.'

"We're a political movement group, we're not exactly going to remain secretive, dumb ass. And we know you know him. You were all over the news. He's in house arrest and all you have to do is buddy up with him and get him into some serious, public trouble. If you don't you'll be dealing with a lot more then a broken arm." (having a statue sit on your chest was never ever fun. Even if you were into that kind of thing).

Just perfect. Now he wouldn't be the peacemaker for Diaspro and James alone, but also for hot and spicy newcomer. "You have nothing to use against, or will have," he explained to Bela carefully. "After you persuade the prince to the more reckless venue of activity, you're free to do as you wish."

During Diaspro's speech, Bela had displayed her boredom, quite clearly. Rather than leaving her arms crossed across her chest, she started to tap her fingers against her thigh, barely stifling a yawn. "Finished?" she asked Diaspro, decided uninterested.
"What exactly do you expect me to do?" she asked Jasper, ignoring Diaspro again. "I'm the one that got him under house arrest; if you've got any bright ideas, please, share." Wait, that sounded like she was going to go along with their hare-brained idea. THAT depended on what they wanted. But she wasn't too fond of the way things were going. She liked Alex and they could cause plenty of trouble together. Hopefully, she'd be able to figure out a way to get out of this.

Diaspro rolled her eyes. The girl obviously wasn't that bright if she hadn't figured it out that Jasper answered to her, and if she wanted to weasel her way out of anything, it was her she'd have to go through.
"You are going to get him to comit some heinous crime, something worse then setting fire to the Gaia. Something public, something that will upset people. Get them mad at the monarchy." A malicious glint appeared in Diaspro's eyes. "It'd be best if someone died....an innocent, mind you."

Diaspro was a little scary when she wanted to be. He flashed her a dangerous look. "And what if that innocent is a Dream?" he asked curtly. He shifted his glance briefly to Bela.
"How you intend to do what we ask is your business. You're an attractive girl. Use your imagination."

"If you expect me to take part in any plan that will result in the death of an innocent, you can take your debt and empújelo encima de su asno." Here's hoping that Diaspro doesn't speak Spanish. And Bela had known as soon as the other woman came into the room that she was the leader of the whole operation; she just chose not to acknowldege that fact.
And Jasper's words gave her more than ample ideas as to what he, at least, expected her to do. But she doubted that that would do much good; it would cause enough of a scandal for Jasper and Diaspro. Anyway, she could figure that out later. Maybe there was still some way to get out of this. What Bela needed was time. And, at the moment, the only way to get that was to agree to their plan.
Rather than saying outright that she'd do what they asked of her, Bela just nodded, hoping that that was enough for them.

Oh god this girl was slower then molasess. She didn't seem to realize she was transparent as plastic wrap. "You're not wiggling out of this." Diaspro warned darkly and shrugged to Jasper. "If it's a dream, it's a dream. One life in the grand scheme of things is hardly worth crying over." With the same scary glint in her eye she turned back to Bela. She didn't speak spanish, but it wasn't exactly impossible to get the gist of what she'd just said.
Diaspro sniggered. "So mature, aren't we? You don't seem to understand how serious this is. If you don't do exactly as you've been asked, I can promise not a bone will be left uncrushed in your body."
