Name: Genevieve “Genn” Ira
Age: 137, but appears to be about 17.
Gender: A lady, not just a girl.
Group: ¾ Nightmare, ¼ Dream, on her Dad’s Mom’s side. Genevieve is extremely pro-equality. She tries to pretend there is no such thing as a Nightmare/Dream prejudice because she thinks acknowledging it will let it continue.
Occupation: She’s the Princess of Nightmares and Dreams, and won’t let anyone forget it.
Appearance: As much as the twins resemble their father, Genn is a younger version of her mother. If she looked a decade or so older, she and the Queen could be confused for twins. Genevieve has the same icy blue eyes, fair skin, and shapely figure. Though, she hasn’t grown all the way into the curves she’s bound to inherit, she is pretty curvy for a teenager. Her hair is nearly black, but has strong overtones of chestnut brown. She usually teases up the crown, and lets the rest fall in silky, shiny waves past her shoulders. It's truly stunning when she fixes it up, but if she leaves it to dry on it's own, her hair is wild. It can't decide which way to lay and it poofs out something awful. This lovely trait she can thank her dear father for. Luckily, it is easily tamed with a blowdryer and mousse.
Of course, Genn wears only the finest of the finest. She only owns dresses, at least eighty percent of which are pre-1900’s styles. She seems to be able to navigate in gigantic hoops and platform heels with unnerving grace, but when put into flat shoes, she is more prone to loosing her balance. She refuses to wear real furs, but doesn’t make it her personal business to dissuade others from wearing it. She loves to experiment with fun makeup colors and loves jewelry, both real and costume.
Personality: It seems highly unlikely, considering her stock, that Genevieve Ira should come out with anything less than full-throttle arrogance. Especially when her good looks are put into the equation, it’s amazing to think that she can even feign modesty. Somehow, she does, and manages to keep both feet mostly grounded most of the time. She can’t avoid, however, being headstrong, vain, and rather flighty. Genn can be rather inconsiderate, not out of malice, but out of self-centeredness. She cares a lot about other people, this often leads people to find her rudely nosy, but most of her prying has good intentions behind it.
When not shopping, singing, or making people over, Genn can be found in her mini-menagerie situated in the Castle Gardens. She has an extreme love of nearly every animal, even those who could be deemed ‘monstrous’ or ‘scary’. In her personal zoo, she has an assortment of all the non-sentient beings Chimera and Dreamland have to offer, from a unicorn, to a giraffe, to a tarantula the size of a Shetland pony. How did she accumulate a small zoo, you may wonder? Well, when Genn “really, really wants a new pet,” Daddy buys it for her. Most of these pets stay outside, but Genn has a little two-headed terrier named Crawford Kennedy that she totes around with her all the time.
Dainty little Genevieve has dreams of a big whirlwind romance, swept off her feet by her true love and all that. She’s greatly touched by classic love stories: Cyrano de Bougerac, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Princess Bride, etc. Unfortunately, her father and older brothers prevent her from even the most casual dating with methods usually resembling death threats toward her intended escort for the evening. They don’t seem to mind that she’s well over dating-age, as she’s still their ‘little’ Genn. However, if the Queen happens across a ‘nice boy’, she’ll often arrange a date for Genevieve, then use a well-crafted “Oh, she went to the Palace Shopping Center with Elizabeth and Jessica for a few hours” to cover for her daughter.
Powers: Genevieve happened to inherit the most Vampiric traits of the three Ira children. While she has most of the classic ‘vampire’ characteristics, they’re not at a strictly preternatural level. She has excellent hearing, eyesight, and smell, her fair skin burns in all but the weakest sunlight, and she takes her steaks still-mooing. This being said, Genn is not able to scale walls or do any of that crazy-vampire-nonsense.
And, in another surprising instance of inheritance from her mother, Genn’s singing voice has a siren-like quality to it. It has a particular enchanting effect on males, but being the sweet girl that she is, Genevieve tries very hard not to use it to her advantage.
