Name: Marie Antoinette
Age: 215 years old, looks about fifteen (without the masses of makeup)
Gender: Girl
Group: Nightmare (doesn’t get why one would be prejudiced against the other)
Occupation: Social Butterfly
Appearance: Marie is incredibly pale, paper-white, due to the makeup she wears on a daily business. Her routine includes lots of powder, blush to make her cheeks the unnatural color of the day. She’s also indulged in more modern techniques of lip gloss and foundation. Her hair, in real life, had been a wig, but in her Nightmaric state, she has actual masses of pure-white hair that’s supremely easy to twist and mold into the elaborate hairdos she loves. She’s got pert, pretty features, a small nose, small cherubic lips and round, soft blue eyes The girl has taken to flattering dresses of expensive cut and design, often with tight flat bodices and ruffles and bows. The woman, an old Governess, who had nightmares about Marie hadn’t seen her since the age of fourteen, when she’d been married off and left her parent’s estate.
As such, she only heard of the decapitation second hand and dreamed about it happened to the youthful girl she remembered. Only on one occasion after the marriage did the Governess see the then Queen Marie. It was completely by accident, but the woman was left with the impression of the little fashionista Antoinette had become.
Marie has a thin red line circling her neck she often hides with lacey, pearl embedded chokers. They also serve the practical function of keeping her head on her neck.
She’s not very tall, and it quite slender with only the start of womanly curves, but the dresses she wears do a lot to exaggerate what little she has. If someone were to see her without all the fabric and paint, they’d see just a young girl.
Personality: True to form, Marie is incredibly naïve. She’s ignorant of the world’s workings. The girl sees what she wants to see and if something doesn’t fit she turns away from it. Marie is also rather spoiled, shallow and charming. Opposing what most would think, she isn’t stupid however.
She’s got a huge thing for shopping, elaborate garishness and luxury of all sorts. There’s a charisma about her, however. Despite all her flaws, she’s outgoing, and if you’re her type of person, she can be a blast to be around. Negative emotions don’t come into the equation too often; she turns her back on anything negative. But when she is said, she doses it with a large amount of retail therapy. She never has to worry about money, she’s got an inheritance from some distant relative who did something big once.
Marie’s incredibly quick to take a liking to someone, and once she has she likes to bestow them with favors and attention. She’s just as quick to drop someone and move on if bored. She’s worked at being considered a member of the Social Elite on the Isle. She’s wracked up a reputation as a wonderful party-thrower and is superficially popular (this involves a diet of air-kisses and really, really false smiles). Because of the time she grew up in, fifteen was considered adult. She therefore acts and works to look a lot older then she's matured too. Without all the smoke and mirrors, she's just a young girl. But not to many people see that in her.
Powers: Very simply, she has the power to shape her hair in incredibly elaborate designs. Also, to never have her make-up line show, and to never, ever have it run or need re-application. She should seriously be a super hero or something. Also, she can take off her head without dying. Although it’s not so much ‘taking off’ since it’s already off.
Other information: She has a terrible fear of anything sharp. For obvious reasons. She’s never seen without a choker to keep her head on and she’s very self conscious about the fact that her head has the ability to fall off. She can speak fluent French and has an accent when speaking English.
