Mercedes guided the eerie man into a small room intended specifically for officer-suspect interviews. She nodded once to the guard as she ushered the man in, feeling the tension leave her for the first time that night. She felt safer being on her home turf, so to speak.
The room was small with two over head lights, a plain wooden table and three chairs, two at the table and one against the wall. There were no windows and the ceiling was low giving the room a cramped, box-like feel. Mercedes led her suspect to the chair facing the door and unlocked his restraints. A notepad, plastic seal-able bags, and pen were already lying on the table, waiting for her. She sat down, picking up the pen and quickly scribbling out her signature as present LOS member. She looked up at the man, dark eyes solemn.
"Please sit down. Now, could you please give me your full name?" she asked, pen poised to take down his answer. Her eyes were already combing his person for any hints. Her eyes widened as she found what she'd been silently hoping for. She reached across the table and plucked the brown hair from the mans sleeve, placing it in one of the plastic bags. "And would you happen to own a dog?"

s"My name is Seth Vann" Eyes not even bothering to follow the hair, "Please, miss, Forewarn me before you being to touch me..." Eyes narrowed, yet the peaceful smile remained, "I do hate being touched." A minor pause, "No, I don't have a dog, animals and I don't mix, allergies, you know."

Mercedes gave a small tight smile.
"That's odd. People in you're neighborhood seem to recall seeing a man fitting you're description with a terrier. They're not very common pets in Chimera, Mr. Vann. It's actually what led me to your door," she asserted, sitting ram-rod straight on the edge of her chair.
"You may file a reimbursement petition with the front desk, but as you did not answer the door I had to proceed with forced entry."

Seth gave her a small nod as he stood to leave, "Ah yes..." He soothed, "I believe there is a young boy in that area who owns a terrier, perhaps that's the confusion." A light musing as he opened the door, "It's quite alright, my work doesn't allow me to stay in one place very long." With that he was out the door, skipping the front desk and on his way.

Mercedes glared at his shallow excuse about the boy down the street, but as she had no further concrete evidence, there really wasn't much she could do.
"And what do you do for a living, Mr. Vann?" she asked.

Vann smiled, "A traveling priest," He soothed "Spreading the word of God."

Mercedes raised an eyebrow or two at that. A what? She looked him over in obvious disbelief. A shady Dream like this? A priest. Sure. And her madre was a sedate woman who cared little for appearance. Mercedes put both palms flat on the table.
"A priest? Do you find a lot of converts in Chimera?" she asked softly. The man may have given her an opening. What would a [/i]priest[/i] be doing in Nightmare central? Sure, there was the old cathedral, but only aunt Iseabail ever went to pray.
