Name: Hugh Vicerri
Age: `124, appears to be about eleven
Group: Marelock
Appearance: Hugh has inherited from his father, Simon, predominantly. His hair is snow-white (even if it does have that wild curl to it that he very clearly got from his mother), his built slight and refined even if he is perhaps a little short for his age. His eyes are another oddity on a young boy with white hair. They kaleidoscope through colors constantly, swirling in and out of all the nameable (and some unnameable) one’s. They only fix on a color when he is taken over by one of his personalities. Another thing he inherited from his father.
In a slight attempt to rebel, Hugh had avoided his mother’s scissors for a while now, and his thin curly hair falls unevenly to his jaw-line. He likes it and thinks it makes him look like a certain Prince. Besides, Genn seems to have taking a liking to the bad boy kind and if that’s the case he was not going to let his mother bowl cut him and part it down the middle (with a ruler).
Illie is very into making him wear things she’s made by hand, and has gotten into the habit of taking his plentiful allowance and spending it on cool clothing that he carries around in a nap sack that’s always with him. The first chance he gets he changes (he wouldn’t ever admit it, but this is more to protect his mother’s feelings then anything else).
Personality: Hugh is a typical eleven year old boy. He loves getting a rise out of his sister, Finola, whom he calls ‘Fish’. He adores being mischievous and trying out those new pranks Alexander teaches him (mostly on his sister). He likes comic books and is just beginning to think of girls outside the realms of cooties (he has a major crush on Princess Genn).
Where he begins to differ from other boys is the illness that proved to be hereditary (which apparently likes to pick on the men). He houses several different personalities within him and they get out much, much more often because Hugh never benefited from the ruthless training at Crazyworld his father went through. Nor did Simon ever want to put his son through that. Although they’ve tried to find alternative methods of containing him, Hugh is a bit of a hot-head. He doesn’t understand why he has to remain cool and collected all the time, since it’s booooring. But since a cure has yet to be found, they keep looking for ways to keep him calm (calling him short is a surefire way of getting Red to take over).
Outside of his issues, he’s a bit morally ambiguous, like most children his age. He has rare flashes of being Really Sweet and less rare periods of being a total jerk. He really looks up to Armand and Alexander even if they are almost opposites. His parents appreciate Armand’s influence on the boy, since Hugh tries to be calm and phased-by-nothing like him, but not so much Alexander’s. Illiana and Simon try very hard not to let Hugh’s illness prevent him from doing the things he wants. They still take him out and let him go play, although they have been known to be required to pay damages to the parents of his friends on more then one occasion.
Red = Anger
Yellow = Happiness
Green = Jealousy
Purple = Confidence (This is usually triggered by embarrassment)
Blue = Sad
Gray = Fear/Timid
Pink = Crush
Black = Evilness/Hatred
Powers: So far, Hugh’s only power is the ability to pass through solid objects. He hopes to inherit more as he gets older.
Notes: He is, obviously, Simon and Iliana’s youngest child. Along with his sister, he grew up very wealthy and well acquainted with the royal family.
When one of his personalities takes over, his white hair shifts into the appropriate color, and his constantly changing eyes stop at the same.
