"Precisely," she agreed, gaining courage as their conversation progressed. Mikhail was just so convincing, and he sounded so confident over the matter, it was natural some of it would rub off on her.
She gave a short, flippant laugh, shaking her head. "You're always such an ego booster." And indeed, her perfect complexion was already glowing again, the tilt of her chin slightly haughty.

Mikhail let out a happy chuckle, "That's the spirit, darling." He said, patting her cheek tenderly, "Come along, now, let's forget all about this silly boy-business and do something fun. We should go out somewhere!" He suggested. Perhaps, he thought, it would be even better for her to get out of the house and really forget about him.

Go out? It had such a dreamy, wonderful sound to it.
"Yes, let's--" she said, a bit breathlessly. She half smiled, half frowned, uncertain. She hadn't gone out in awhile, but before stupid David, she had been something of a socialite. She sprung to her feet, suddenly inspired. "I'll just go get dressed. And you.... decide where we're going."
She winked at him coyly over her shoulder and then scurried off to the bedroom to get changed.

Mikhail smiled widely at her change in demeanor. There was the old Sam he loved. He'd have to think up somewhere truly devious. In his mind, he carefully went over his options. Well, they couldn't really go to any of the less fancy bars. Might run into the sad little lush. But they could always go somewhere more upscale.
He grinned a bit, calling towards the bedroom, "Darling, would you like to go to The Faded?"

She paused halfway through buttoning up her dress, her nose wrinkling a little. The Faded? It was a place of more dirty reputation, and very decidedly Nightmare, but...
Why not?
She didn't really want to run into anyone she might know, so in that sense it was perfect.
She emerged from the room, dressed to go, and smirked. "The Faded it is. But first..." Reaching behind her head, she pulled free her hair clip and her hair tumbled down over her shoulders. "Ta-da!" Letting her hair down. Literally.

Laughing delightedly, Mikhail rose and wrapped an arm lightly around her waist. "I thought you might be interested." He purred happily. The Faded was always a lovely place to go when one wanted to remain unseen, and at the same time see plenty of ...interesting things. "Come along, then, darling." ((Ooc: To ze bar! Want to start, or shall I?))
