(In my mind, Iseabail IS a version of Sarah Brightman...)
Iseabail is a pretty little-ish thing; she stands at about 5'5". Interestingly, she's rather pale, for a Scot, and has wavy black hair (which she normally wears in ringlets) rather than the stereotypical red. Her eyes are large, open, and icy blue in color. When her fangs extend, however, they (her eyes, not her fangs) turn silvery. Iseabail moves silently and fluidly; almost like a cat. She feels the most comfortable in the style of her era: the 1700s. An important note, though, is that she tends to cross-dress a lot to avoid male scrutiny. She's especially fond of kilts, but, unlike Scottish males, she does wear things beneath hers.
Personality: Iseabail is a bit of a rebel, especially for the time period she comes from. She has a rather hot temper. It flares up easily; a bit too easily, at times. In fact, during the course of her life, Iseabail has been imprisoned several times simply because of things she's said in the midst of a rage.
This tendency for biting, caustic remarks has helped keep Iseabail’s true friends at a rather minimal level. However, those that do get to know her learn to see past her harsh front to the patriotic Scot beneath. (Yes, even though England has had power over Scotland for QUITE some time, this nightmare is a proud supporter of her country.)
Upon meeting new people, Iseabail tends to start out sweet. If, for some reason, the person she has just met offends her, angers her, causes her (or her friends) pain, this Scot will be against that person for quite some time. Unless and until they can prove that they are trustworthy, Iseabail will hold a grudge.
And now, onto religion: on the subject of Mass, this vampire is, while not exactly devout, a practicing Catholic. She has a special pair of gloves that she wears during services. And, while she still tends to shy away from holy water, Iseabail has taken the Eucharist enough times to have developed an immunity that wouldn't normally be present in vampires.
Most Catholics are non-violent, but in Iseabail's case, if someone hurts her or attempts to harm her, "revenge" is one of her favorite words. She hasn't been to confession in a long time and feels quite guilty about that, even though she hasn't killed for quite a while.
Powers:
-Iseabail is a vampire, and as such, depends on blood as well as fear. She can be quite mesmerizing, if she wants to, but quite often, she doesn't want to.
-She has a beautiful soprano voice, which is necessary for her job. She also plays the piano as her parents gave her a "proper education." An unusual thing, though, is that she plays the bagpipes.
-Iseabail is, basically, the fear of failure. Bonnie Prince Charlie imagined her when he was very young, but she became more prevalent later in his life, during his battle to reclaim the throne of Scotland.
-Because she's lived a long time, she's pretty good with weapons, but, not surprisingly, she tends to avoid wooden things. This means that archery is not one of her strong suits.
Other information: Bonnie Prince Charlie was terrified of blood; his nightmare was to have his blood drained from his body. And, because he was being "drained," he saw that his life was fleeting, therefore causing him to doubt himself and to push his armies too hard. He didn't want to fail, you see. He wanted to succeed in his lifetime. But, he thought that he WOULD fail because he was being haunted by a figment of his own mind: Iseabail, the fear of failure (and blood).
((By the way, those of you that knew Iseabail before, forget everything except this; I’ve changed her.))
