Name: Vilmos
Age: Countless, as old as the Isle of Morpheus itself.
Gender: Male
Group: Night Terror
Occupation: General bastardry and evil
Appearance: Vilmos does not have a body like most Nightmares---somehow reminiscent of that of a human. He is blobulous in form, constructed entirely of a black, slimey substance. If he concentrates, he can condense and be shaped somewhat like a man, but it isn’t often he bothers. However, his invertebrate form is not to be mistakenly for harmless. Not only does he have a set of razor sharp teeth, but he can open his mouth wide enough to swallow an elephant whole, and he moves quickly enough to do it before much protest can be made. There are limitations to this form. He cannot communicate with the simplistic language he does know, and he much prefers taking up residence in a body, since even he realizes his form doesn’t lend to much respect.
Personality: Vilmos is smart in the way a shark is smart: he can smell blood in the water and knows how to get it, but ask him to count to ten and he’ll fumble. He doesn’t have much of a personality beyond a hunter’s instinct. He knows when to run, when a fight is too big for him, when the opponent is stronger, and he knows when he should stay and fight. His only real trait is his absolute obsession with violence. In a very simplistic way, he can be coaxing. He doesn’t know how to manipulate, but he does know the rabbit will come towards a carrot before it comes towards a mouth of grinning fangs.
Powers: He can instill violence in the calmest of people, bring out that rage and killer instinct and make the kindly nurse slaughter a room full of babies. He takes the most perverse pleasure in shed blood. Lastly, he can take up residence in a body that already hosts a certain amount of violence or rage, but the longer he spends in the body, the more it deteriorates and by the time he gives up a body for another, the host is usually rendered husk-like, as though they’d suffered a lobotomy. His presence has the odd effect of strengthening the person he is using while also eating them up from the inside out.
Other Information: He was, until recently, imprisoned in the deepest dungeons of The Rissa Grande, but a recent raid of starved people triggered his release, and he was able to slip away in the confusion. He has caused lots of trouble in the past, but that was way before even Queen Pia’s solitary reign, and it is likely he has slipped from all memory. Except perhaps Iker’s.
