You must audition before you post a Character Sheet. There's no point wasting your time creating a character if you're not going to be approved.
1. Post a request in the Auditions board.
2. One of the members of the staff will provide you with a word/phrase prompt. This is to avoid getting a premade entry from a previous roleplay. We don't care to see what you've spent hours rewriting and perfecting. Spontaneity is more our style.
3. After you post a three-paragraph reply (give or take, if it's a little over or a little less, it doesn't matter), you will receive a challenge prompt. (Your first reply is to be in first person POV) You will switch to third person narrative and give another three paragraph response of how your same character deals with the new development, judging your interaction/roleplaying skills.
4. Await approval. When/if received, promptly get started on your character sheet.
You do not have to use the character you plan to play for the site. The character can be anyone. It can be yourself. This is merely an exercise to see how well you express character emotion, convey action and write in first-person narrative. [Hint: Wordy, overly-done descriptions do not impress us. Originality and having fun with it does (good use of verbs doesn't hurt either).]
